About Marion

 

    Marion Z. Haase is a Music Therapist Board-Certified,  and a Neurologic Music Therapist. She received her Bachelor's of Music in Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota.
    She is a mezzo-soprano and plays the guitar,  violin,  piano,  viola,  bass, percussion,  world instruments,  dulcimer and some woodwinds. She has extensive knowledge in music composition,  theory and history and is skilled in improvisation,  arrangement and conducting.
    Born in Venezuela, Marion is fluent in Spanish and English as well as conversational French.
    Marion's clinical experiences have taken place in Minnesota,  Florida and Texas, including such populations as geriatrics,  rehabilitation,  integrated classrooms,  hospice,  developmental disabilities,  early childhood intervention,  learning disabilities,  chemical dependency,  and mental illness.
    Marion is familiar with major theories and models of therapy and is committed to professional ethics and standards of practice.
